Great restaurant overall: yelp pictures don't do any justice for this place, so I took some nice ones :D Decor was beautiful! Love the fresh rose on the table and nice clean restroom. Excellent manager and server, they were so attentive! Ordered a steak tartare and Octopus, both beautiful and classic! You can tell the quality of the food by simply feeling the hot plates served with hot food! Great date night spot! Will recommend!

Visited the Brentwood restaurant last night with friends from the Brentwood area who raved about how much they love the place and the ambiance. The place is dark and seems pretty intimate, even when it is still light out. It is filled with locals who look like regular patrons. The menu has quite a number of selections. Most of us at the table got the veggie burger and felt it was very underwhelming. It was very loud in there and hard to carry a conversation. Our server was wonderful. I do wish I remembered his name. He was probably the best part of the night. The entrées are very well priced but the appetizers are overpriced, so it ends up balancing out. I do understand why locals gravitate towards this place, but I am not sure I would cross over the 45 again to visit.

Ok, so I have a couple of buds who hang here and love it.... so off I went. I expected the bar to be full (which I hear it is most nights) and lucked out with my choice of seats. Almost immediately Brandon throws a hand out and menus. The new guy Oliver is right behind him with his mitt. Both great guys. I go Malbec (nice wine list btw $$$) and start to look over a very interesting menu. At this point the bar is filling up with regulars and the conversation is what a great bar should be. How's the summer? Where ya been? Another drink? I love all this casual stuff. Felt right at home! Oliver told me the Chicken Pot Pie was the winner so I followed his sage advice. It was good, the pastry on top could have had more crunch, but good solid pie. Sliders looked good and some other units that cruised past looked very good. The restaurant part is perfect date/affair/anniversary/girls nigh kind of spot. Intimate and dark. Valet out front to make that quick get away ! Loved it all!!

After dining at this discreet intimate restaurant for over 10+ years, it has earned its review, WTS? Many many memories and local celebrity sightings here (esp cuz it's ideally located near the heart of Brentwood & convenience to Pacific Palisades). I even once bumped into a yuck-butt ex, whom I tried to duck away from and AVOID, but it's a small world, hahahaha... Fabulous wine selection and excellent quality of food (expected for the higher price point). The bar is always packed, as cocktails are ever flowing, lol!!! I couldn't decide between the Wagyu, filet mignon, or the king salmon.. but I am trying to cut down my steak addiction & make better choices with more Omega 3 consumption.. so I chose to go with fishy fish. Their fresh wild king salmon ($44) was prepared medium (Chef's preference). It had a juicy tenderness contrasted by a crispy exterior crustiness! Absolutely heavenly, yet light in texture... the roasted root veggies & potato cake compliment the salmon's natural freshness. The service is spectacular and friendly. And the intimate romantic ambiance adds an element of effortless eloquence and unspoken seduction. Valet parking $10.50 or metered street parking available.

This place is a hidden gem. A quaint neighborhood restaurant serving comfort food at its finest. I'd come here every night if I could. The food has always been fantastic. They've got a good selection of mouthwatering desserts and the service is second to none. The bar scene alone is worth coming for. From salads to steak, fish, pasta, and burgers...There are so many things to try. The Dover sole is exceptional. Oh so tasty with the lemon butter sauce. The creme brûlée was my favorite dessert with its caramelized top and rich vanilla cream. The doughnuts were amazing too. Perfect doughy texture, freshly made and delicious with or without the raspberry and vanilla sauces. Come for dinner or enjoy some late night eats. The place is open until 2am on most nights except for Sunday and Monday. It can be pricey but phenomenal from start to finish.

We enjoyed dinner with friends at Brentwood Restaurant last weekend. What a great little find! We started with drinks in the bar, and my martini was perfection. Bartender was super personable. Moved on to a nice booth in the back of this small restaurant, it was very cozy and perfect for carrying on conversations with our friends. For starters, we had the tuna tartar and the burrata salad, both were fabulous. I had a hard time deciding on my entree, so many looked good. I had the meatloaf and it was fabulous! My husband had the veal and liked it a lot as well. The table service was slow for a quiet, holiday weekend night; our waiter did not check back in with us at any point and we had to flag him down to get dessert menus. Dessert was delish, and the coffee was very good. We will be back, that's for sure.

I got here with my boyfriend on a Saturday around 5, it had just opened so it was a bit empty. The place is dark, with several tables and a small bar. This is my boyfriend's favorite place and has been going here for years. I like the local vibe it has, it's small but cozy. We ended up getting the shrimp cocktail that was very good and it was very large shrimp. Ended up getting a few drinks and was there for a few hours, the place always kept busy. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I can see myself coming back here to grab a drink or two. I also like that there is street parking, no having to pay!
